On 18th October, Twitch legend, Felix "xQc" Lengyel, was watching a Jubilee video, entitled: "Do all people with Down Syndrome think the same?" when his stream died at arguably the most paradoxical moment, prompting some fans to speculate whether or not xQc just got banned on Twitch.
In the episode, several individuals with Down Syndrome were asked to indicate how they resonated with various statements. In one particular segment, they were asked to indicate to which degree they agreed or disagreed with the statement: "I love how I look," and to explain their reasoning.
xQc's internet dies at just the right moment
One person, Sean, who indicated that they 'somewhat agreed' with the statement, said: "Well, I love my look and my personality; like greatness personality, because I am who I am. I love myself. I do." xQc was listening attentively and his chat was spamming wholesome emotes in response to what each person in the show had to say.
Sean continued to say, "But for me, it's really cool to be with my friends that's here right now with me. It's these friends I have right now, because I feel so great, because I feel so powerful. Look at these guns," before he proceeded to flex his muscles for everyone to see.
It seems as though Sean's "guns" were clearly too much for xQc or his stream to handle because xQc found it hard to contain himself as he burst into laughter. Shortly after laughing, xQc's Twitch feed was abruptly disconnected, which prompted many fans to chat to spam "F" in the chat.
Naturally, the moment was immediately clipped and shared on Reddit, where hundreds of fans shared their comments.
Some Reddit comments were absolutely comical. "You laugh, you lose; except my career is on the line (not clickbait)," one Redditor commented, hinting at xQc's next YouTube VOD title. "Cancelled in real-time," another Reddit user wrote.
xQc later indicated that his internet died from his new location in Los Angeles, but it couldn't have happened at a better time.
"Of course, it wouldn't be a typical location move if the internet didn't go out on the first day," xQc tweeted in all-caps shortly after the stream ended. "I'll be back in the morning," he added.
OF COURSE, IT WOULDNT BE A TYPICAL LOCATION MOVE IF THE INTERNET DIDNT GO OUT ON THE FIRST DAY. I'LL BE BACK IN THE MORNING, THANKS FOR TUNING IN REGARDLESS ❤ SEE YOU GUYS THEN 👋

xQc decided to move to Los Angeles after having fun at Twitch Shitcamp. He previously mentioned that he enjoyed hanging out and being around friends, which was a major motivator for the move.
While we could expect more collaborative content from the Twitch star, it seems as though he will have to first resolve his internet connectivity issues. We could also expect more IRL streams from xQc as well, which we definitely look forward to!
