WoW Amalgam of Rage: How To Get Diablo 4 Mount

Blizzard opened up pre-orders for various Digital Editions of Diablo 4, following the game's release date reveal as 6th June 2023 during The Game Awards 2022. So what does this have to do with a World of Warcraft (WoW) mount called Amalgam of Rage?

Well, Diablo 4 and the WoW mount Amalgam of Rage are actually closely connected, both by the mount's look and design (hellhounds, anyone?) and how you can get one to fly across the skies of Azeroth.

WoW Amalgam of Rage Mount: How To Get

First off, the Amalgam of Rage in World of Warcraft is a cross-promotional item. This means it is linked to Diablo 4. The only way to get the mount in WoW right now is to purchase a copy of Diablo 4.

It is important to note that the Amalgam of Rage mount is not a pre-order incentive but, instead, an incentive to open your wallet and purchase a digital version of Diablo 4, even after its release on 6th June 2023.

If you pre-order Diablo 4 on Battle.net for PC, you will receive this mount right away in WoW. However, those who purchase one of Diablo 4's Digital Editions on Xbox or PlayStation will have to wait until 6th June 2023 to receive this WoW mount.

Once you've purchased Diablo 4, you should get the mount in your in-game WoW mailbox. Remember to use the same Battle.net account to make the purchase that you also play WoW on.

WoW Diablo 4 Mount Price?

If you are just after the Amalgam of Rage and don't care about Diablo 4 at all, then we've got some bad news for you. Technically speaking, if you don't plan on playing Diablo 4, you will still have to purchase it to get the Amalgam of Rage mount in WoW.

This means the price of the Diablo 4 mount in WoW is basically the price of the game, with the lowest price (Standard Edition) being $69.99. 

Any Other Way To Get Amalgam of Rage Mount?

At the time of writing, there is no way to get the Amalgam of Rage mount in WoW except by purchasing Diablo 4. This might change far into the future, as we all know what happened with the rare Feldrake mount recently.
