WoW Dragonflight Season 1 PvP: Arena Map Pools, iLvl, Rewards & More

With the World of Warcraft (WoW) Dragonflight Season 1's launch comes the Vault of the Incarnates raid, the Mythic+ Dungeon rotation, and, of course, Player vs. Player (PvP). This article focuses on the latter, detailing the WoW Dragonflight Season 1 PvP content.

We discuss the WoW Dragonflight PvP rewards (including their iLvls), the new Arena map, the weekly Arena map pool rotation, Conquest Caps, and more, so let's get started.

Update on 14 April 2023: We've updated this article with the latest on WoW Dragonflight Season 1 PvP, from the speculated end date to rewards and more.

We believe the Season 1 end date window is between late April and mid-May 2023.

At the time of writing, Blizzard has not confirmed the exact Season 1 end date, so PvP players should probably not waste any time starting their journey, as getting to Gladiator rank is going to be a rough one.

It will be interesting to see how WoW's first race/class combo does in Rated Solo Shuffle Arenas during Season 1. (Picture: Blizzard)

Players will be able to participate in Rated Solo Shuffle Arenas during WoW Dragonflight Season 1. They can earn seasonal rewards and achievements. Blizzard explains:

Just like in Rated Battlegrounds and Arenas, Rated Solo Shuffle players can earn seasonal rewards and achievements, credit towards Vicious mounts, weekly Great Vault progress, and Conquest with rewards being based on the highest rating amongst all of a player’s specializations.

While players can earn all seasonal titles and achievements as they do in Rated Arenas, there is one exception; Gladiator and its associated reward. Instead, the top 0.1% of Rated Solo Shuffle players will get the title "Crimson Soloist" at the end of WoW Dragonflight Season 1.

What is the Conquest Cap in WoW Dragonflight Season 1?

To purchase more PvP gear, you will need to earn Conquest currency by participating in the likes of Arenas, Rated Battlegrounds, and more.

For WoW Dragonflight Season 1, the first week's Conquest cap is 1350. From here, it will increase by 550 per week. Spend that first Conquest haul wisely, maybe on a Trinket or some gloves?
