Dead by Daylight's Lights Out mode is finally here, after players have been requesting limited-time game modes for years now. The mode only lasts one week, but during it, players will be able to earn several rewards for playing the game mode and completing the limited-time tome challenge, which are available for both killers and survivors. 

Here are all of the rewards available in Dead by Daylight's Lights Out mode, and how to earn them through the tome challenges while they're still available.

Dead by Daylight Lights Out Mode Event Challenges

The Lights Out limited-time mode lasts from 7 February to 14 February 2024, meaning players have just one week to earn all of the rewards. This means that the event tome associated with the mode is fairly short. All of the challenges in this particular tome can be completed on either the killer or survivor side.

Here are all of the challenges included:

Challenge Challenge Description Rewards
Amateur Ornithologist Disturb 40 Crows 5 Rift Fragments, 15,000 Bloodpoints
Destroy or Rebuild

Complete a total of 12 of the following as Survivor or Killer:

  • Succeed at generator skill check(s)
  • Break generators
 See No Evil charm, 5 Rift Fragments, 15,000 Bloodpoints
Bloody Rewards Earn 75,000 Bloodpoints Trapper's Shadow Banner, 5 Rift Fragments, 15,000 Bloodpoints
Drop or Chop

Complete a total of 12 of the following as Survivor or Killer: 

  • Drop pallets while being chased by the Killer
  • Break pallets
 Shining Lamp Badge, 5 Rift Fragments, 15,000 Bloodpoints
Salvation or Sacrifice

Complete a total of 6 of the following as Survivor or Killer: 

  • Safely unhook survivors
  • Hook survivors
 Twilight Forest Banner, 5 Rift Fragments, 15,000 Bloodpoints
Golden Age Earn 6 Emblems of Gold quality or better 5 Rift Fragments, 15,000 Bloodpoints

Every challenge save for the very first and last one in this tome offers a cosmetic reward to players, in addition to the usual Rift Fragments and Bloodpoints. These are brand-new rewards that cannot be purchased in the in- game store, and may not return in the future.

Here are all of the rewards players can earn in the event tome:

  • Shining Lamp Badge (Alan Wake Collection)
  • Twilight Forest Banner (Alan Wake Collection)
  • Trapper's Shadow Banner
  • See No Evil charm
  • Trapper's Shadow Banner
