Best Kar98k loadout for Warzone Season 4

We previously mentioned that the XM4 is now the most powerful Assault Rifle (AR) in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4. Considering the strong meta swing toward Sniper Rifle and AR combos, you’ll definitely want to match it with an equally powerful long-range weapon.  Although the HDR is an honourable mention, the Kar98k is arguably the best option for players looking for some easy quickscope one taps. The absurd ADS, firing rate and mobility of the Kar98k make it an easy choice as a long-range weapon. Considering its ease of use, it’s also a favourable option for less-skilled marksmen. The Kar98k also packs the punch to burst right through enemy armour from practically any distance. Here is our selection of the best attachments for the weapon, based on boosting mobility and precision.

The best Kar98k loadout at the start of Warzone Season 4 is:

• Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
• Barrel: Singuard Custom 27.6”
• Optic: Sniper Scope
• Rear Grip: Stippled Grip Tape
• Laser: Tac Laser

The Monolithic Suppressor is an obvious choice not to reveal your location on the minimap during firing and also increases damage range. The Singuard Custom 27.6” Barrel not only boosts bullet velocity but further improves damage range and recoil control, making those one tap headshots a bit easier. Together, these attachments bolster the gun’s damage and overall range, making the Kar98k especially lethal.

We took inspiration from NICKMERCS and FaZe Nio by using a Stippled Grip Tape to boost the already insane ADS of the Kar98k. Otherwise, you can use the Sleight of Hand perk if you’re concerned about enemies taking advantage of your slower reload speed. 

Similarly, the Tac Laser is another must-have attachment that you can use to improve ADS speed. If you would prefer to remain elusive, then you can rather opt for the FTAC Sport Comb, although you will be sacrificing aiming ability. This stock add-on will also negate the ADS dropoff from using the Monolithic Suppressor and provide some additional mobility, which may be the slight advantage you need to land those kills.

The Kar98k is easily the best long-range Sniper Rifle to use, particularly in the final circle or as an aggressive weapon option. We certainly expect this to be a popular option for many players (until it gets nerfed, that is), so make the most of this loadout while you still can.
