Warzone Pacific Season 1 has brought over 40 new weapons to use on the new Caldera map, but sometimes it's simply best to stick with what works.

And despite numerous changes and nerfs over the seasons, the XM4 assault rifle is still among the most popular guns in the battle royale, a fun-favourite AR that is considered to be one of the most reliable and versatile options for your primary weapon.

If you are not interested in learning how to play new assault rifles like the STG44 and the Automaton and just want to learn what is the best XM4 meta loadout for Caldera and start gunning down opponents with your trusty AR, then we've got you covered.

Best XM4 loadout for Caldera

This XM4 loadout for Caldera focuses on the weapon's long-range capabilities which we want to utilize in areas like the Fields, the Arsenal, and the Airfield.

For the best long-rage XM4 loadout, use these attachments:

Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
Barrel: Task Force Barrel
Optic: Axial Arms 3x
Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
Ammunition: STANAG 60 Round

No need to explain the Agency Suppressor at this point, it's simply a must-have muzzle for all Black Ops guns. It will significantly increase your range while keeping you off the radar - a deadly combination in the jungles of Caldera.

The Task Force barrel is the bread and butter of this build, as it enables the long-range potential of the XM4 with immense bonuses on damage, damage range, and bullet velocity.

The Axial Arms 3x offers 3.0x magnification while maintaining clean sight, which is perfect for medium to long-distance encounters.

Now when we are all set and ready for long-range encounters in terms of raw power, we need a steady hand and precision, and that's where the Field Agent Grip jumps in with its improvements to both vertical and horizontal recoil control.

Finally, we opt for the STANAG 60 Round, as we want the biggest magazine available.

Best perks and equipment for the XM4

Perk 1: E.O.D.
Perk 2: Overkill
Perk 3: Amped
Secondary: OTs 9
Lethal: Semtex
Tactical: Heartbeat Sensor

The E.O.D. perk is a standard and safest choice as our first perk, which will protect you from random explosion damage.

Since we are going with the Overkill perk(and the OTs 9 as our secondary), you want to pair that with the Amped perk, for fast switching between the guns.

Not much to add when it comes to our Lethal and Tactical picks, the Heartbeat Sensor excels at stumping out sneaky campers, while the Semtex is great due to its stickiness.
