Original Story continues:
Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone Pacific players are getting wrecked by Krampus, a beastlike folklore creature that roams around Caldera and Vanguard Multiplayer maps during the Festive Fervor holiday event. In Warzone Pacific, Krampus is randomly drawn to players who get coal from Supply Boxes.
If you're among the many players struggling to defeat the Christmas monster, don't worry; you're not alone. However, if you're unlucky enough to be on Krampus' "naughty list", then you might want to use the following tips to help you quickly kill Krampus in Warzone Pacific's Festive Fervor event.
How to kill Krampus in Warzone Pacific Festive Fervor event
Firstly, to kill Krampus, you'll first need to get your hands on one of the strongest and most broken guns in the game, preferably some that packs a punch, like the Bren or MG42 light machine guns.
Next, you might also want to use our broken meta Bren gunsmith loadout to ensure you have a fair chance of taking down Krampus. The trick is to keep your distance when shooting and to remain patient while dropping his health.
It is also best that you stay away from corners, where you might get blocked off and instead position yourself in an open space, where you can easily evade incoming attacks. Be careful not to get third-partied, though.
Also, be mindful of Krampus' movements, and be sure to take cover behind Festive Fir Trees during his attacks while keeping the above points in mind until Krampus is defeated.
You aren't alone in thinking that Krampus is a tad overpowered. "Does anyone else think this Krampus thing is possibly the STUPIDEST thing they've ever added to the game," asked one Reddit user.
In a different Reddit thread, appropriately titled, "Krampus needs to go," a user complained about how Krampus hunted him down after being in a "top five situation" but got "completed f**ked" over by the beast.
"Winning is already hard enough, but being hunted by a near-impossible being to kill with less than ten people left is too much," they added.
Despite these complaints, there is no indication yet that Raven Software will nerf the Christmas beast. So, you'll have to stick to your guns and employ this strategy to reap those holiday rewards.
Players that successfully defeat Krampus within the allotted time will earn 2000 XP and $ 10,000 of in-game cash, along with special rewards, like increased chances of Legendary Supply Boxes or half-off Buybacks each day of the holiday event.
Good luck, have fun, and merry Christmas!
