After being benched by LA Thieves in favour of rookie Carlos “Venom” Hernandez, Temp has been released from the roster entirely and placed onto Paris Legion’s starting line-up.
The casualty of the switch is Fire, who has been released from the Paris Legion roster after a string of lacklustre performances.
Temp joins Matthew “Skrapz” Marshall, Nicholas “Classic” DiCostanzo and Ulysses “AquA” Silva on the Paris Legion starting line-up.
Paris Legion have had a particularly dismal 2021 season, placing 9-10th in the Stage 1 CDL Major and 11-12th in the second. It’s unsurprising then they’d want to make some shake-ups to the roster.
These shifts can make a huge difference too, with Toronto Ultra going onto win the Stage 2 Major after swapping out one player between the first and second stages. Whether Paris Legion can pull off the same kind of turnaround however remains to be seen.
Interestingly, this could be in a LAN setting — with many teams posting hints towards moving back to real-life events over the current online setup. No official details however have been announced.
Stage 3 of the Call of Duty League starts 22nd April with the London Royal Ravens’ Home Series, followed by events for Paris Legion and Dallas Empire. This will culminate in the Stage 3 Major starting on 12th May.
