So if you like to run heavy, here is the low down on Warzone Season 3's LMGs.
Warzone LMG tier list
There's a total of eight Light Machine Guns in Warzone Season 3. As with all other gun types, not all of these have been created equal by the developers.
At the start of a new season, things can always get chaotic as players aren't sure which LMGs are the best, and which they should avoid. That's why we have put together this tier list, saving you time and getting you the best weapon for the new-look Verdansk.
Description of the tiers
We have opted for a standard five-tier system, S to D.
S-Tier: The absolute best LMGs in Warzone.
A-Tier: With a great loadout these LMGs could go toe-to-toe against the S-Tier.
B-Tier: In the right hands or in certain scenarios these LMGs are very capable.
C-Tier: This LMG tier requires you to run a perfect loadout. Can be used in specific scenarios to great effect but has some downsides as well.
D-Tier: The trash tier. You would be much better off using one of the other LMGs in this list.
It is important to note tier lists are not an exact science. However, this list does give you a good idea of the power rankings when it comes to LMGs at the start of Warzone Season 3.
LMG tier list for Season 3
Below, we've ranked all eight LMG options for Warzone Season 3 from best to worst, kicking things off with the S-Tier weapons which can mow down your opponents with ease.
It is important to note that there isn't actually a huge difference at the outset with LMGs in Season 3 but that could change as we learn more about the changes made to attachments.

It feels impossible to choose between the MG34 and the Stoner 63 as the best possible LMG for Warzone Season 3. You can just flip a coin and go for any of those two if you want to shred your opponents. We've given a very slight edge to the Stoner 63.
The Bruen MK9 in all its glory. (Picture: NICKMERCS)
- Bruen MK9
The Bruen MK9, before some nerfs in previous seasons, was the top LMG out there. In Warzone Season 3, it is still very close to the S-Tier. The FiNN is a bit of an underused LMG which can compete with the best-of-the-best in the right hands.
The Stoner 63 is pretty dope. (Picture: NICKMERCS)

Barely not making the A-Tier, these LMGs from the B-Tier are still very effective in the right hands getting the right loadout for them is essential though.
The SA87 is lonely in the C-Tier. (Picture: NICKMERCS)
Choosing the right attachments for the SA87 is important and it can still be a viable weapon within the meta but there are definitely better LMGs out there.
The Holger-26 isn't all that competitive. (Picture: NICKMERCS)
Don't phone the Holger-26 if you are looking for a good time in Warzone Season 3. Instead, go for one of the other seven LMGs on the list.
