Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific Season 2 Reloaded gameplay patch kicked off with a bang, bringing several striking changes to the game, including significant reworks to Rebirth Island, a long list of weapon balance changes, and the arrival of the new Armaguerra 43 submachine gun and Snoop Dogg Operator.
In addition, Warzone players participated in various Community Challenges, unlocking unique, specialised mechanics in the game. While the mid-season patch certainly did not disappoint, many eager players are now wondering about the release date and time of Warzone Pacific Season 3.
When will Warzone Pacific Season 3 start?
Assuming there are no unforeseen delays like in the previous season, Warzone Season 3 is expected to start on 26th April 2022 at roughly 9 am PST | 12 pm EST | 5 pm BST. However, if there are any unexpected delays, players should be notified via the Raven Software or Activision social media pages.
We should note that Activision has not provided the next season’s official start dates and times; however, based on previous seasonal updates and the current countdown timer in the Warzone Battle Pass, we are reasonably confident about these timings.
What can you expect in Warzone Pacific Season 3?
Right now, it’s hard to say what the developers might be planning. However, like every season update, you can rest assured that there will be weapon balance changes (particularly to the sniper meta), new game modes, functional weapons and Operators. Of course, Warzone Season 3 will also get a shiny new battle pass for players to unlock exclusive cosmetic rewards.
Notably, many players have been calling on Raven Software to resolve the many issues plaguing Caldera; therefore, we could see several POI changes to the tropical island as well. In fact, Senior Creative Director Ted Timmins hinted at “some really cool stuff” coming to Caldera next season.

Likewise, the developers will also be pushing changes to Perks. In the Warzone Season 2 Reloaded patch notes, Raven Software pushed several changes to Perks, which they explicitly noted: “represent a glimpse of what is to come in Season 3.”
According to a Twitter post by Charlie Intel, there also appear to be adjustments for directional footstep audio headed in Season 3. With that said, the next seasonal update will likely include other quality of life improvements.

Lastly, in February 2022, reliable leaker RealityUK speculated that Warzone could be getting a King Kong limited-time event. While there aren’t many details about this alleged LTM, our best guess is that it would presumably be akin to Krampus (and we all know how much Warzone players love that).
