Cyberpunk 2077 patch 1.5 brought a long list of improvements to the game, including quest and gameplay fixes and next-gen exclusive updates. Of course, these fixes comprise a string of updates to deliver the gameplay experience initially promised after a botched launch.
As a cherry on top, developers CD Projekt RED (CDPR) recently expanded Cyberpunk's character romances, creating greater depth to its characters' development and intimacy. Despite not having any shortage of sex scenes or potential love interests already, Cyberpunk 2077 patch 1.5 delivers an interesting new take, which includes some NPCs now sending you nudes!
Cyberpunk 2077 NPCs will send you nudes
On 17th February 2022, a Twitter user revealed that Panam shared explicit photos per the game's in-game text messaging system, writing, "Panam [is] getting a little spicy with these DMs."
In the attached screenshot, Panam could be seen asking the player what they were up to, writing, "I'm just about to step into the shower, thinking of you," and uploaded a naked photo of herself.
While it's clear Panam is embracing the thot life, much like OnlyFans superstar Amouranth, she is covering her breasts in the photo. So, although she is naked, you (unfortunately) can't see any nudity.
Accordingly, the game prompts players to pursue the romance further, replying, "Feelin' dirty, huh? Think there's room for two...?" or "Panam, I can tell you're bored," as a subtle rejection. Why CDPR thought it fitting to include a rejection option in the first place is beyond me.
Followingly, some users on Reddit have been jestful in expressing their disinterest, with one Redditor commenting, "Nevermind that, I want pictures of Spider-Man." Another replied, "If you want the pictures, I want the staff job. Double the money." In true Bully Maguire style, a third commented, "You'll get your pictures when you fix these damn bugs!"
On a different note, CDPR's latest move to overhaul character romances has garnered significant praise from players. "Okay, that was pretty unexpected. What about drunk Judy and her 'present'?" wrote Reddit user Valaxarian; "I need answers," replied Suicdsolo. Indeed, so do I.
As it turns out [spoiler alert], the Cyberpunk 1.5 patch allows players to text chat with Ainara "Abuela" Alvarez, Judy's grandmother, after romancing her as V. Accordingly, Ainara tries to "sus you out" to make sure you're not going to break Judy's heart.
Some players argue that this gives greater emotional depth to the game, and I would certainly agree. Moreover, players' reactions can also drastically change the course of these relationships.
For example, if you block Judy's grandmother in the first message reply, she compares you to Maiko Maeda. However, if you pursue the conversation respectfully, she explains how she appreciates your honesty. Then, after asking what your intentions are with Judy, she says she trusts you.
"I love stuff like this, and it probably takes very little work to add. [I] wish [the developers] added a lot more stuff like this. So much depth and lore can be added with just some basic text trees," wrote one player.
However, other players had other weird ideas, writing, "But can you bang her?" and "So, Judy's grandma noods when?". Hopefully, never; that's definitely not something I, or the majority of players, would want to see.
While the game is not short of steamy sex scenes, it's remarkable to see such fantastic character development in Cyberpunk 2077's patch 1.5. GG, CDPR! I hope to see more updates like this in the future from other developers!
