Dead By Daylight Funko Pops 2023 Release Cancelled: Here's Why

UPDATE - Dead By Daylight developer Behaviour Interactive has confirmed that they've had to cancel their previously announced Funko Pops collaboration, which was due to release in 2023.

Writing on Twitter the developer told fans:

"We regret to inform you that due to circumstances beyond our control, our previously announced Dead by Daylight Funko Pop partnership will sadly not see the light of day. We realize that many of you were eagerly awaiting their release and that this news may be disappointing, but don’t fret, we have plenty more exciting collaborations on the way!"

We'll be sure to keep this updated should anything change in the future.

Original Story Follows -Horror game fans and collectors have been waiting for the release of Dead by Daylight Funko Pops since they were announced earlier this year during the game's 6th anniversary Livestream.

Here is everything we know so far about the upcoming merchandise, including when it is slated to release and which characters will become cute little Funko Pops for players to collect.

When Are Dead By Daylight Funko Pops Coming?

During the 6th anniversary stream back in mid-2022, Mathieu Côté, Game Director of Dead by Daylight, confirmed that Funko Pops would release by the end of 2022.

There has not been an official release date announced past that yet, but, as it's already mid-October, we should expect to hear more information soon.

Collaborations with other companies can take some time, so it's best to be patient until an official announcement comes from either Funko or Behaviour Interactive.

Dead By Daylight Funko Pop Characters

A total of four Dead by Daylight Funko Pops will hit shelves upon their release, featuring three killers and one survivor.

All of the characters featured in the Funko Pops will be original Dead by Daylight characters - so no licensed Funkos like Michael Myers or Amanda Young.

It's possible that more Dead By Daylight Funko Pop characters could be released in the future. But we guess that depends on how well the first lineup sells.

Where To Buy DBD Funko Pop

It is currently unknown where you might be able to buy Dead by Daylight Funko Pops as soon as they release.

It's possible that they could be an online exclusive, but there are no guarantees yet.
