Dead by Daylight's developers released a list of the most popular killers in Dead by Daylight based on pick rate. This gives players some insight as to which killers the community loves the most, and which ones aren't picked so often. Of course, these numbers tend to change all the time as characters are reworked, added, and even removed; as in the case of the Stranger Things chapter.

Who Is The Most Popular Killer In Dead By Daylight Right Now?

According to Behavior Interactive, here is a list of Dead by Daylight's 10 most popular killers, ranked by pick rates between January 2024 and March 11, 2024:

1. The Hillbilly (8%)
2. The Huntress (7%)
3. The Deathslinger (6%)
4. The Wraith (5%)
5. The Good Guy (5%)
6. The Mastermind (5%)
7. The Legion (4%)
8. The Trapper (4%)
9. The Shape (4%)
10. The Ghost Face (4%)

The Hillbilly is the game's most-picked killer. This makes sense, since he recently underwent a rework and clearly this has increased both his use rate and kill rate across all MMRs. As noted by the dev team the update "skyrocketed" The Hillbilly to the top of the list of most popular Killers. Likewise, The Deathslinger also saw a noticeable bump after being featured in Tome challenges.

Who Is The Least Popular Killer In Dead By Daylight?

Based on past stats, the least popular killer in Dead by Daylight was previously The Twins, with a measly 1% pick rate.

The Twins have long been a controversial killer in the game's community, with many players believing that they are too strong when it comes to camping and that they aren't particularly fun to play against. However, at the time of writing, Behaviour Interactive hasn't officially released an updated list of the killers with the lowest pick rates.

It's possible that after a recent rework, the Twin's pick rate could have increased slightly, and this duo could lose their status as some of the Dead by Daylight community's most disliked killers, both to play and to play against.
