Diablo 2 Resurrected (D2R) Next Ladder Reset
The latest Ladder Reset date for Diablo 2 Resurrected, ushering in Season 9, will release on 6 November at 14:00 PDT / 23:00 CEST / 06:00 KST (next day).
We know that there will first be a PTR to test out the patch content for one week, followed by the update’s release, and then the ladder reset two weeks later.
What Are The D2R Ladder Types?
For those new to a Ladder experience in Diablo titles, it is a competitive affair, where each season, players compete on the leaderboards, starting with fresh characters.
Following each D2R Ladder reset, players attempt to race to the top of a new Season’s leaderboard, leveling up through Normal, Nightmare, Hell, and Terror Zones to see who can reach level 99 the fastest. They also get to experience ladder-exclusive features, which get added each new season.
There are four Ladder types in Diablo 2 Resurrected, each with its distinct leaderboards.
- D2R Classic Ladder: Start from level 1 and play through the original four Diablo 2 Acts.
- D2R Hardcore Classic Ladder: The same as Classic, except if you die, your character will be gone, and you need to start all over again.
- D2R Expansion Ladder: Start from level 1 and play through all five acts, including the Lord of Destruction expansion’s Act V.
- D2R Expansion Hardcore Ladder: The same as Expansion Ladder, except that if you die, your character is gone, and you need to create a new one to play again.
