Thanks to information from the recent COD Next Event Livestream, we now know that some new and interesting Perks will be coming to Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. And if you're curious to know more then keep reading.

Below you can find all the Perks that will be introduced to Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. We will also delve into the three types of perks that will be available in the game: the Base, Bonus, and Ultimate Perks.

Base, Bonus, Ultimate Perks in Modern Warfare 2

When used strategically, Call of Duty perks can alter the course of a battle. They give you the upper hand over the opposition and empower you to rule the battlefield. To truly take advantage of the benefits, you must fully comprehend the perks.

Modern Warfare 2's new system can be a little perplexing. Therefore, we've listed every perk in Modern Warfare 2 and described how the new perk system in the game operates. Here are the Modern Warfare 2 base, bonus, and ultimate perks you can anticipate using.

Base Perks

You can select two base perks from the get-go, so be sure to choose wisely and play to your strengths.

  • Overkill: This allows you to carry two primary weapons.

  • Double Time: Allows you to crouch 30% faster and doubles the duration of your sprint.

  • Battle Hardened: Provides immunity to Snapshot Grendates as well as a reduction in the effects of Flashes, Stuns, EMPs, Gas Grenades, and Shock Sticks.

  • Scavenger: This allows you to scavenge ammo and knives from dead players.

  • E.O.D: Reduces the damage you take from non-Killstreak explosives. When you pick up a live grenade, the timer is also reset.

  • Tracker: Enemies will leave a footprint trail, you will be able to see enemy death markers, but the enemy will not be able to see your kill markers.

  • Pitcher: Allows you to throw equipment further and displays the trajectory before throwing it.

  • Extra Tactical: Provide you with an extra Tactical.

Bonus Perks

Every four minutes during the game, players receive bonus perks, some of which are incredibly helpful.

Perks
Players are encouraged to try out new Perks and combine them with the new upgrades for a more unique style of gameplay.
  • Resupply: Gives you an extra lethal and extends the time it takes for your equipment to recharge to over 25 seconds.

  • Spotter: Allows you to see through walls to see enemy equipment, field upgrades, and kill streaks. By using your sight, you can draw attention to them for your team. enables you to hack C4, Trophy Systems, Proximity Mines, Claymores, and more.

  • Cold-Blooded: You become invisible to enemy targeting and thermal systems.

  • Fast Hands: Speeds up reloading, weapon switching, and equipment use.

  • Quick Fix: Your health regeneration is triggered for each kill and for maintaining objectives.

  • Focus: Reduces flinching when aiming down sights and lengthens the time you can hold your breath.

Ultimate Perks

Every eight minutes into the game, an ultimate perk is awarded, so choose wisely.

  • High Alert: When an enemy player spots you before you spot them, your screen will pulse in high alert.

  • Ghost: Makes you invisible to portable radars, heartbeat sensors, and UAVs.

  • Hardline: Lowers the cost of your Killstreak and Scorestreak by one kill and 125 points, respectively.

  • Overclock: You can store an extra charge for a field upgrade if you overclock. Additionally raises the charge rate for Field Upgrades by 40%.

  • Survivor: When you die, you enter Last Stand, where you can self-revive once per life.

  • Birds' Eye: The minimap zooms out, and the direction and location of the enemies are revealed by UAV and radar pings.
