Nonetheless, we are still a week away from the Season 5 update, and Raven wants to make sure that everyone will have a good experience throughout the last seven days of Season 4.
The 5th August update brings a few small balance tweaks and a new weekly playlist.
When it comes to balance changes, the Kirg 6 has been rightfully nerfed, as the assault rifle has been dominating the meta for quite some time.
On the other hand, the CX-9 was added to the game a few days ago, and it seems that Raven has enough data showing that the SMG is currently underperforming, so they have decided to make a few minor improvements.
Unfortunately, there is no news about the new anti-cheat system, something pros and other players were hoping to see, as the game is currently experiencing an unforgivable cheating problem, an issue of such a magnitude that it even forced TimtheTatman and NICKMERCS to quit the game for the time being and switch to Apex Legends.
