If you’re looking for a strong submachine gun not named the MP40, then the M1928 is a solid option to try. Otherwise known as the Thompson, this SMG packs a huge magazine, little recoil and decent damage provided you equip the right attachments.
Best M1928 loadout in Warzone Pacific

Unlike some other SMGs, the M1928 starts out with a large magazine that you can use to your advantage on Caldera. For the actual loadout, you’ll want to stack it with accuracy attachments to make it competitive with guns like the PPSh-41.
- Muzzle: Mercury Silencer
- Barrel: CGC 14.5” Shrouded
- Optic: Slate Reflector
- Stock: CGC S Adjustable
- Underbarrel: M1915 Steady
- Magazine: .45 ACP 100 Round Drum
- Ammunition: Lengthened
- Rear Grip: Pine Tar Grip
- Perk: Sleight of Hand
- Perk 2: Fully Loaded
As most Vanguard loadouts in Warzone Pacific, this M1928 starts out with the Mercury Silencer. This reduces recoil and keeps you off the radar when firing. The silencer is followed by the CGC 14.5” Shrouded barrel helps with hip-fire accuracy, which you can certainly use to your advantage on Caldera. This is also helped with the M1915 Steady underbarrel.
To improve mobility, the CGC S Adjustable stock is in use, which boosts sprint-to-fire speed by a wide margin. However, mobility is drawn back a little with the .45 ACP 100 Round Drum mags. Although, for such a large magazine, mobility isn’t hurt too much.
The last attachments are Lengthened to improve bullet velocity and the Pine Tar Grip to help the M1928’s accuracy.
Best M1928 perks and equipment

- Perk 1: Double Time
- Perk 2: Overkill
- Perk 3: Amped
- Primary weapon: Automaton
- Lethal: Frag Grenade
- Tactical: Stun Grenade
As with most SMGs, you want to use the M1928 as an Overkill secondary. Your primary should be an AR, like the Automaton, or a sniper rifle, such as the Kar98k. The rest of the class set-up is fairly standard, with Double Time the normal perk for an SMG. However, if you plan to use the primary AR more, we recommend using E.O.D. for extra explosive protection.
