How To Counter Galactus in Marvel Snap

If you want to counter Galactus, you've come to the right place!
How To Counter Galactus in Marvel Snap

Galactus' reign of terror over the Marvel Snap metagame has finally come to a close with the advent of the most recent balance adjustment. It will take some time before we see how this change affects Galactus decks as a whole, but it is likely that these decks will still exist in some shape or form. Galactus decks completely change how a game of Marvel Snap is played, and when this card is on the table, matches no longer become about winning locations, they become about counter cards and playing conservatively. If you want to beat a Galactus player, you need to look out for the early signs of a Galactus deck and play the appropriate counter cards at the right time.

So, if you are ready to counter Galactus, you've come to the right place. This article will cover the best ways to counter Thanos in Marvel Snap, including tech cards, strategies, and more.

How To Counter Galactus In Marvel Snap

On reveal, Galactus will destroy the two other locations if he is the only friendly card here, and you now have also to be winning the location. There are several counters against Galactus both to prevent his effect from activating or to win after the effect has occurred.

Spider-Man

This spot used to be reserved for Professor X, but since Galactus' change, this is no longer the case. However, if you suspect your opponent is playing Galactus into a location on turn five, a timely Spider-Man will shut down any options they have for the final turn.

Debrii

The original Galactus counter, Debrii will add a rock to each other location and completely negate any Galactus strategy all by herself.

Shang-Chi

Shang-Chi is great after Galactus has been played. It is very likely for a Galactus player to follow up their turn-five play with Death and Knull, which allows Shang-Chi to make quick work of them. Utilizing Shang-Chi was often quite difficult as Galactus' previously low power level made it so you would often have priority. Now, thanks to Galactus' power increase, Shang-Chi has a much greater chance of going second and hitting the correct targets.

Cosmo

Cosmo is great if you have priority going into your opponent's Galactus turn, as Cosmo will completely negate the On Reveal ability of this card and all other cards at this location.

And these are the best Galactus counters in Marvel Snap.
