Marvel Snap has a ton of cards for players to collect and battle with. These cards are divided into separate pools so that newer players don't find themselves going up against killer whales who have been playing since beta. The first two pools are supposed to help players acclimate to the game, but most veterans will tell you that the jump from pool 2 to pool 3 is massive.
There are 70+ cards in pool 3, the most out of any pool in the entire game. Additionally, the acquisition of these cards is somewhat random. Instead of receiving new cards regularly like in pools 1 and 2, players will now open Collector's Caches with a chance to contain a pool 3 card. Here is where the game becomes a lot less fun for some people as not only are the regular card additions to your collection gone, but now you have to face off against players with tons of rare cards.
