How To Win A Location With Only 1 Card In Marvel Snap

Marvel Snap combines exciting gameplay with the thrill of collecting beautifully designed cards. One way to progress quickly in the game is by completing daily missions, ranging from simple tasks like playing a certain number of two or three-cost cards to more challenging objectives like winning games with a snap or making your opponent retreat.

As such, building a deck with more one or two cost cards can help you complete missions that require specific card placements. For example, one of the more difficult missions in Marvel Snap is to win a location with only one card. If you're trying to complete this mission, you'll be happy to know there are a few strategies to improve your chances of winning a location with just one card. Let's discuss them.

The best way to win a location with a single card in Marvel Snap is to use large power cards like Apocalypse, America Chavez, or Hulk. Regarding the former, Apocalypse has great synergy in any Discard deck. Apocalypse starts with eight power, but every time it is discarded, he will come back with an additional four power.

Using Lady Sif as a guaranteed buff for your Apocalypse and getting lucky with either Blade or Blade Master, you can have an Apocalypse that scales upwards of twenty power by turn six. Then you can just drop your monstrous Apocalypse at an empty location and pray for no Iron Man!

You can check out a popular Pool 1 and Pool 2 Apocalypse deck below:

Pool 1 Apocalypse Discard Deck List
  • Ant-Man
  • Elektra
  • Korg
  • Nightcrawler
  • Yondu
  • Blade
  • Angela
  • Wolverine
  • Lady Sif
  • Sword Master
  • Apocalypse
  • America Chavez
Pool 2 Apocalypse Discard Deck List
  • Ant-Man
  • Iceman
  • Nightcrawler
  • Blade
  • Morbius
  • Angela
  • Swarm
  • Bishop
  • Lady Sif
  • Sword Master
  • Apocalypse
  • America Chavez

Alternatively, you can rely on good old Hulk to get the job done. With its monstrous twelve power for six cost, Cards like Hulk are great finishers for near-empty locations. Additionally, America Chavez can also work wonders as, despite having less power than Hulk, you are guaranteed to draw her on turn six.

And that's everything you need to know about winning a location with only one card in Marvel Snap.
