Dead By Daylight Before The Masquerade Event Rewards List & More Explained

As Dead by Daylight approaches its 7th anniversary, many fans have been excited to hear what Behaviour has to offer them during the annual anniversary event. Before the event begins on the 23rd of June, though, players will be able to take part in a month-long mini-event with rewards that include extra Bloodpoints, Rift Fragments, Iridescent Shards, and more.

The event, titled “Before the Masquerade”, as a nod to last year’s and the current year’s masquerade-themed anniversary event, will be broken up into 3 week-long segments that are themed after different eras of Dead by Daylight’s history. If you've been wondering how to get Bloodpoints fast, this is the perfect opportunity.

Before The Masquerade: Week 1 (May 23-May 29)

The first week of festivities will run from May 23-29, and feature boosted maps from the first 2 years of Dead by Daylight, a Bloodhunt (in case you've been wondering when the next Dead by Daylight Bloodhunt is!), and the following rewards daily upon login:

• May 23rd - 50K Bloodpoints
• May 24th – 50K Bloodpoints
• May 25th – 10 Rift Fragments
• May 26th – 25K Bloodpoints
• May 27th – 10 Rift Fragments
• May 28th – 25K Bloodpoints
• May 29th – 50K Bloodpoints

Before The Masquerade: Week 2 (May 30-June 5)

The second week of the event lasts from May 30-June 5, and maps from the second and third years of Dead by Daylight will be boosted. There will also be a “Fragment Frenzy” event, which will reward players with 2x the Rift Fragments for each level up and challenge completed, to commemorate the years when the Archives were first released.

Along with these events, there will be another week of login bonuses as follows:

• May 30th - 50K Bloodpoints
• May 31st – 50K Bloodpoints
• June 1st – 10 Rift Fragments
• June 2nd – 25K Bloodpoints
• June 3rd – 10 Rift Fragments
• June 4th – 25K Bloodpoints
• June 5th – 50K Bloodpoints

Before The Masquerade: Week 3 (June 6-June 12)

During the third and final section of the event, lasting from June 6-12, the most recent years of Dead by Daylight will be celebrated, and so will the maps that were released during that time. Like many of the past anniversary events, players will be able to participate in a Community Choice event to decide what rewards will be given out during the anniversary.

Players will also be rewarded with double XP all week long, and another final round of daily login rewards:

• June 6th - 50K Bloodpoints
• June 7th – 50K Bloodpoints
• June 8th – 10 Rift Fragments
• June 9th – 25K Bloodpoints
• June 10th – 10 Rift Fragments
• June 11th – 25K Bloodpoints
• June 12th – 50K Bloodpoints

Until June 21st, log in every week leading to the Anniversary to celebrate the last seven years in Dead by Daylight. 🎉

After the 12th, even though the three weeks of daily rewards have ended, players can still log in daily until the 21st to receive one piece of each of the 4 anniversary-themed outfits. Try not to miss a day, or your outfits will not be complete! The 2023 Anniversary event, the Twisted Masquerade, will begin on June 23rd, 2023.
