Coldzera calls out West Ham football players on Twitter

Brazilian CS:GO players and fans are traditionally some of the most passionate in esports, with Brazilian teams being amongst some of the best CS:GO teams in the world. There is no denying this. But sometimes this passion can come across aggressive, and the last thing you want to do is cross the Brazilian CS:GO community. Unfortunately, nobody passed this message on to Samir Nasri and Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez of West Ham United, who had the audacity to leave Marcelo ‘coldzera’ David waiting in London, ultimately not showing up for a sponsored piece of content, presumably for Betway for whom both MIBR and West Ham share a sponsorship. https://twitter.com/coldzera/status/1103285830276259840 A rough translation suggests that coldzera got up at 4.30am to catch his flight to London to record the video with Nasri and Chicharito (who he tags in a follow-up tweet), meaning he missed a day of bootcamping for the upcoming WESG tournament in China, which MIBR are one of the favourites to go on and win. As well as coldzera's clear displeasure at the situation, many of his fans have taken to Twitter to let the two – who earn over £200,000 a week between them – know how much they have messed up. This includes fans calling the players "crap", "not even 90 in FIFA" and mocking the fact that they have ended up at West Ham despite once upon a time playing for Manchester United (Chicharito) and Manchester City (Nasri), the two biggest clubs in English football. Next week coldzera and his MIBR teammates will be in Chongqing, China competing against some of the best teams in the world for their share of the $890,000 prize pool, for which the winning team receives $500,000. MIBR are bookies' favourites to go on and win the whole thing but will be facing stiff competition from teams such as Ninjas in Pyjamas, Fnatic and G2 Esports across the week. Meanwhile, West Ham will be facing Cardiff City and Huddersfield Town over the next couple of weeks – hopefully Chicharito and Nasri are able to show up for these ones.
