FACEIT reveals teams for America and Europe Minor Closed Qualifiers

FACEIT has announced the CS:GO teams set to compete this weekend and next in the American and European Minor qualifiers respectively.

At the Minor qualifiers, teams will be battling it out to secure a place at the American and European Minors and, finally, the FACEIT London Major.

Six teams will qualify for the Minor from the America qualifier, whilst eight will qualify from the Europe qualifier.

American teams

  • NRG Esports
  • Rogue
  • eUnited
  • Ghost Gaming
  • Complexity
  • Boxr
  • Luminosity Gaming
  • Team One

  • Swole Patrol
  • Bravado Gaming
  • Mythic
  • Team Dignitas
  • Armada Esports
  • Fam143
  • The Pioneers
  • F35

We expect the invited teams to put on some strong performances here, particularly NRG and Complexity. It will be interesting to see if teams such as Swole Patrol can put up much fight after getting to this point through the Open qualifiers.

European teams

  • Ninjas in Pyjamas
  • Heroic
  • AGO
  • Red Reserve
  • EnVyUs
  • OpTic
  • Windigo
  • Fragsters

  • Nordavind
  • Jalapeno
  • fish123
  • Sprout
  • Team Kinguin
  • ENCE
  • tomorrowgg

Again, the Invited teams here are definitely the bigger names and will have the larger expectations on their shoulders. OpTic, NiP and Red Reserve will be looking to run away with this, whilst teams such as ENCE and Kinguin have the potential to cause some upsets. The big question here is Team EnVyUs – the org recently released their Counter-Strike roster, so it will be interesting to see what these players do and how they perform.

About the event

Throughout the Minors, each region will compete live in London’s Twickenham Stadium, the home of England rugby, for a chance at $50,000 and a place in the FACEIT London Major Challenger Stage. General Admission tickets are still available and can be purchased on the FACEIT website for as little as £15.00 per day.

The Americas Minor will take place from July 7-11, and the Europe Minor will take place from July 19-22 at Twickenham Stadium in London.
