Diablo Immortal Asia Pacific Release Date And Extra Rewards

The launch of Diablo Immortal in Asia Pacific regions has been delayed. Here's the release date and some extra rewards for those affected.

Diablo Immortal Asia Pacific Release Date And Extra Rewards

Blizzard unleashed Diablo Immortal on PC (open beta) and mobile devices on 2nd June 2022 in most of the world. At the time, the developer explained that certain Asia Pacific (APAC) regions would get the game later. Now, the developer has delayed the Diablo Immortal Asia Pacific launch.

In this article, we outline the new Diablo Immortal Asia Pacific release date on PC, Android, and iOS, as well as the rewards prospective Nephalem in these regions, will receive to compensate for the delay.

The Diablo Immortal Asia Pacific region launch date has changed. The game was expected to release on 22nd June 2022 in various Asia Pacific regions, but this has changed.

Diablo Immortal will now launch in Asia Pacific regions and countries on 7th July 2022 (PDT).

Blizzard explains in a recently updated post: "We are delaying the launch of Diablo Immortal in the regions of Asia Pacific to July 7 PDT. Having a staggered launch for our debut mobile-first game gave us an opportunity to learn and optimize between each phase.

"We believe that our players will benefit from optimization that would make the download and playing experience much smoother."

Once the game releases in these countries (listed below) there will also be new servers.

Diablo Immortal Asia Pacific countries/regions:

  • Hong Kong
  • Indonesia
  • Macao
  • Malaysia
  • The Philippines
  • Singapore
  • Taiwan
  • Thailand

Due to the delay of Diablo Immortal's Asia Pacific launch, Blizzard will give players a rewards package to thank them for their patience.

The once-off reward package includes:

  • x1 Legendary gear piece.
  • x100 Scrap Materials.
  • x10 Enchanted Dust.

Players on the Asia Pacific servers will be able to claim these free rewards in Diablo Immortal by heading to their in-game mailbox after they've created their first character.

It is interesting to note that Diablo Immortal's first season and battle pass are also expected to end on 7th July 2022. Therefore, we expect an update to the game, a new battle pass for Season 2, and maybe even some additional content to arrive.

So there you have it, the rewards players from the Asia Pacific regions mentioned in this article can expect to receive once Diablo Immortal's launch date in these regions rolls around.
