Yondu is a one-cost two-power card in Marvel Snap that, on reveal, will destroy the top card on your opponent's deck. Deceptively weak, Yondus is, at worst, a decently statted card with an upside. However, at best, Yondu can be game-winning if he manages to destroy your opponent's core win condition, like Silver Surfer or Cerebro.
So, if you are ready to start using Yondu in Marvel Snap, you've come to the right place! This article will cover the best Yondu decks in Marvel Snap, including deck lists, strategies, and more!

Best Yondu Decks In Marvel Snap
The best Yondu decks in Marvel Snap are destruction decks. Yondu is so powerful in this archetype because it can destroy an enemy card for free (thereby helping to reduce the cost of Death) while also providing great fodder for cards like Carnage.
There are other decks where Yondu can shine, but most, if not all, of these decks, involve destruction in some way, shape, or form.
Death Wave Deck
Death Wave decks are as old as Marvel Snap itself. These decks involve playing a lot of cards in the early game and destroying them using Carnage and Deathlok. Yondu is a great fit for this deck because, as mentioned, it is both a good card to actively destroy and passively be destroyed.
Then, after playing Wave on turn five, it is possible to drop Death, She-Hulk, and a final card of your choosing (usually Aero) in order to win the game.
Death Wave Deck List:
- Squirrel Girl
- Iceman
- Yondu
- Bucky Barnes
- Carnage
- Killmonger
- Wave
- Deathlok
- Shang-Chi
- Aero
- She-Hulk
- Death

Galactus Deck
Galactus decks also take advantage of destroying cards. This deck also runs Death, but Knull is another reason why destroying lots of cards becomes beneficial. Knull's power level will be equivalent to the total power of all cards destroyed in this game, meaning Yondu can very easily help to ramp this up.
Players will want to spend the early game setting up cards in, preferably, a single location. Sunspot and Yondu provide early power, while Cloak can help shift any unwanted ninjas or rocks.
Electro and Wave are used to drop Galactus as early as possible, while Doctor Octopus, Shang-Chi, Death, and Knull are your finishing cards. Feel free to swap in cards like Spider-Man or Leech as you wish as well.
Galactus Deck List:
- Sunspot
- Yondu
- Cloak
- Electro
- Killmonger
- Wave
- Shang-Chi
- Doctor Octopus
- Knull
- Galactus
- America Chavez
- Death
