With the recent Series Drop in Marvel Snap, Sentry has now been downgraded from a Series 5 card to a Series 4 card. Sentry is not the most popular card in the Marvel Snap meta, but now that it will be more easily acquirable, players will have a greater opportunity to test the card out and see what kinds of decks can make it shine.

Best Sentry Decks In Marvel Snap

Sentry's effect is very unique and comes in two parts. Firstly, Sentry can't be played at the right location. Then, On Reveal, a -8 power Void is added to the right location. Essentially, Sentry is granting you eight power in a location of your choice for only four energy, with the caveat that you essentially concede another entire location to your opponent. This trade-off is incredibly harsh as, in most cases, filling a location early or giving up on one entirely is a death sentence. 

However, there is a handful of decks out there that play cards in order to control the middle and left location while foregoing the right in order to make full use of Sentry's power. Alternatively, you can play a destruction-heavy deck and utilize cards like Carnage and Deathlok to remove the detriment of Sentry's On Reveal ability. 

Sentry Clutter Deck

The Sentry Clutter deck is a very unique deck that involves filling your opponent's board with useless cards, making them unable to play anything of value. The deck utilizes cards like Black Widow and Debrii to add zero power cards to various locations on your opponent's side of the field. Players can also play cards like Green Goblin and Hobgoblin while using Viper to send Sentry's -8 power Void to their opponent's location.
