Below we'll discuss how to get the Nuke Killstreak in Warzone 2, as well as what kind of damage it can deal.
Warzone 2 Nuke Killstreak: How To Get, Damage, Radius & More

With Warzone 2, many fans are curious about what they can expect from the new iteration of the popular multiplayer battle-royale title. One aspect in particular that had fans curious was whether the famous Nuke Killstreak would return to the game, and thankfully it has.

So If you're curious to know more about what the Nuke Killstreak is all about in Warzone 2, then you're in the right place. Below we'll be discussing everything there is to know about the new iteration of the Nuke Killstreak in Warzone 2, how to get it, and the damage you can deal with it.

Warzone 2 Nuke Killstreak: How To Get

Initially, players only needed 25 kills to get their hands on the Tactical Nuke, but Modern Warfare 2019 increased the requirement to 30, after which players are granted an instant victory upon activation of the Killstreak. To get it in Warzone 2 however, players need to complete a few tasks before gaining access to the Nuke Killstreak and being able to detonate it, all of which we've outlined below.

Warzone 2 Nuke Killstreak How to get with kills
To get the Nuke Killstreak, players will need to complete a specific number of challenges, which we've listed below. (Picture: Activision)
  1. Win five Warzone 2.0 matches in a row.
  2. Begin the contract for the Champion's Quest.
  3. Find the three components of the nuke.
  4. Wait for the bomb site to be highlighted on the map.
  5. Using the three elements you've gathered, arm the bomb.
  6. For two minutes, you must then defend the bomb against other players, after which the bomb will detonate.

These steps may sound simple, but they are in fact quite challenging. Firstly, after five consecutive wins, a gold crown will appear on the Tac-Map, allowing you to activate the Champion's Quest contract.

The following step is to gather three elements: Beryllium, Plutonium, and Tritium. When an element is picked up, it comes with its own penalty. Beryllium has a tracking device that places a gold crown on your head to alert other players to your location, Plutonium emits lethal radiation, and Tritium scrambles your radar and mini-map.

A yellow radiation hazard symbol marks the bomb site that you'll need to find to plant the bomb. Each element must be placed individually, and the bomb must be manually armed. After which you'll need to defend the bomb for two minutes before it explodes.

Warzone 2 Nuke Killstreak - Damage, Radius & More

The Nuke Killstreak works similarly to how it did in previous titles and is just an instant win once it detonates, meaning there is no blast radius or damage counter to consider. The bomb will instantly kill everyone on the map and reward you with the Champion's Domination Warzone Victory.

But it should be stated that this is a difficult feat to pull off as you have to come out on top of a 150-player lobby five times in a row, which is a tough ask even from the most experienced players. And that is only the first requirement to set off the Nuke, so Activision has fairly balanced the scales when providing players an insta-kill piece of equipment.

But even so, we'd recommend taking on this challenge as not only will it spice up your Warzone 2 experience, but also give you an explosive reward for completing it.
