Gladiator is a three-cost, seven-power card in Marvel Snap that, on reveal, will add a card from your opponent’s deck to their side of this location, and if it has less Power than Gladiator, it will be destroyed. Gladiator had incredible stats for its cost. Seven power for only three energy is the same stats as the powerful Maximus. And, just like Maximus, Gladiator needs to have a considerable downside to justify its stat line.
However, Gladiator's effect is not inherently detrimental. For example, pulling your opponent's core combo piece out of their hand, such as Hela, Silver Surfer, or Sera could result in players winning the game there and then. And, if that wasn't enough, Gladiator also has the chance to destroy that card as well!

So, if you are ready to start using Gladiator in Marvel Snap, you've come to the right place. This article will cover the best Gladiator in Marvel Snap, including deck lists, strategies, and more!
Best Gladiator Decks In Marvel Snap
The best Gladiator decks in Marvel Snap are hard to pin down. Gladiator does not seem to define an entire archetype by itself, but it can definitely have potential in a few existing archetypes. Overall, Gladiator may end up just being a tech card included in various decks that want to pull combo pieces.
Arguably, decks that include Shang-Chi will likely be good with Gladiator, as any card that Gladiator does not destroy can likely be handled by Shang-Chi.
Silver Surfer Deck
Whenever a three-cost card is added to Marvel Snap, the argument of adding it to a Silver Surfer deck will always arise. Gladiator seems like a great inclusion to a Silver Surfer deck at first glance, considering Maximus is also included in this deck. With similar stats, Gladiator can be used early to pull an opposing combo piece from your opponent's hand, or be held until the final turn for a burst of power at an already-filled location.
Silver Surfer Deck List:
- Forge
- Goose
- Mobius M. Mobius
- Brood
- Silver Surfer
- Cosmo

Destroy Deck
Gladiator's ability to destroy cards is an ability that shouldn't be overlooked. Not many decks will have a handful of cards that can avoid being destroyed by Gladiator. Gladiator is a huge card that can not only enable other destroy cards like Death and Knull, but can also provide more stats to your other cards like Venom.
