Best Destroyer Decks In Marvel Snap

Destroyer is one of the most heavily statted cards in all of Marvel Snap. Destroyer provides a whopping fifteen power for six energy with the caveat that it destroys all of your other cards upon being revealed. This huge detriment needs to be offset for Destroyer to be viable, but this is not as difficult as you might think. Alternatively, you can use Destroyer in a deck that wants to destroy other friendly cards.

Best Destroyer Decks In Marvel Snap

There are two options when trying to build the best Destroyer decks in Marvel Snap. The first route is to protect your other cards from its On Reveal effect. This can be done by shielding your other cards with Armor or Professor X. Alternatively, you can use Cosmo to prevent Destroyer's On Reveal effect from activating. 

The second option is to allow Destroyer's effect to go off. When used in conjunction with cards like Bucky Barnes, Destroyer's negative effect becomes a positive. Both of these archetypes are viable options, and we will cover both of them here.

Destroyer Ongoing Deck

The Destroyer Ongoing deck is not as popular as it once was, but it is still a solid and reliable deck. The main strategy with this deck is to play in one or two lanes while ignoring the third. Players will want to dominate locations with powerful cards like Warpath and Iron Man. Then, after potentially locking down a location with a Daredevil / Professor X combo, you can win the game with either Destroyer or Spectrum.

Destroy Deck 

The other option with Destroyer is to embrace the card's destruction. By playing a bunch of cards that want to be destroyed, there is no need to play around Destroyer's On Reveal effect. Nova, Bucky Barnes, and Wolverine all benefit from being destroyed at the end of the game. This deck does still include a few counters to Destroyer's On Reveal effect to make the game plan a little more consistent for when your destructible cards are sitting at the bottom of your deck.
