These are the best Professor X decks in Marvel Snap!
Best Professor X Decks In Marvel Snap (June 2023)

Professor X is one of the strongest control cards in Marvel Snap. Professor X has an Ongoing ability that will lock down an entire location, meaning no cards can be added or removed there. While cards like Storm lock down locations in a similar fashion, cards can still be added to the flooded location via movement, for example. Professor X is far more powerful as he prevents anything from getting in or out via movement, destruction, or other effects. The only downside to playing Professor X is that you commit your turn five to only playing three power. If your opponent somehow manages to play in the same location and has a higher total power, Professor X just lost you the game.

However, there are ways to get Professor X onto the board earlier or buff him to surprise your opponent. So, if you are ready to start using Professor X in Marvel Snap, you've come to the right place. This article will cover the best Professor X decks in Marvel Snap, including deck lists, strategies, and more.

Best Professor X Decks In Marvel Snap

The best Professor X decks in Marvel Snap are those that can consistently play the card in order to lockdown winning locations. Being ahead in a location will allow you to confidently play Professor X to lock the said lane down and cement your victory. This then allows you only to have to compete for one of the two remaining locations, while your opponent will have to compete for both in order to win.

Professor X Ongoing Deck

The best deck for Professor X has always been an Ongoing style deck. Ongoing decks naturally produce a lot of early-game power, thanks to cards like Ant-Man and Warpath. Professor X can confidently be played into a lane with a nine-power Warpath and lock the location down in preparation for Destroyer on the final turn. Spectrum is also included to give a boost to your Ongoing cards if Professor X's location falls a little short on power.

Daredevil is also the best card to use alongside Professor X, as you are able to see your opponent's turn-five play beforehand. This then allows you to potentially play Professor X in an empty location while maintaining your lead elsewhere.

Professor X Ongoing Deck List:

  • Ant-Man
  • Armor
  • Daredevil / Colossus
  • Lizard
  • Captain America / Mister Fantastic
  • Cosmo
  • Warpath
  • Attuma
  • Professor X
  • Klaw / Iron Man
  • Spectrum
  • Destroyer

Professor X Electro Ramp Deck

Professor X also works very well in Electro Ramp decks. This is because Electro allows you to get Professor X out one turn earlier, which can prove vital in certain circumstances.

Professor X Electro Ramp Deck List:

  • Daredevil
  • Electro
  • Wave
  • Shang-Chi
  • Devil Dinosaur
  • Professor X
  • Sandman
