How To Buy Removed Vehicles In GTA Online

Over 180 vehicles were removed from sale in GTA Online in the San Andreas Mercenaries DLC; however, many cars were also added to the game. Despite all of the new additions, players aren't exactly happy about the removal of so many vehicles. However, there are thankfully still ways to buy those removed vehicles in GTA Online, so you can add them to your garage. In this article, we'll walk you through exactly how you can do that.

How To Buy Removed Vehicles In GTA Online

There are several different methods to buy or win removed vehicles in GTA Online. Which method is best to use depends on which edition of GTA you own, since the next-gen version of the game offers some benefits that older generations do not.

First off, the obvious: You can purchase older cars from Luxury Autos or the dealership. You can also win some vehicles when they're available from Casino Podium or LS Car Meet's Prize Ride. Lastly, you might be able to get your hands on a removed vehicle during an event, at which point they might become available again.

The drawback to the above, is that you're relying on the cars being made available from Rockstar, depending on what cars become available after each GTA Online Weekly Update.

Now, if you would rather not wait for Rockstar, there is a workaround.

If you have a GTA+ membership and you play the game on Xbox Series X/S or PlayStation, you can just buy removed cars from other players at the LS Car Meet. Just head to the LS Car meet with your friend, and make sure they drive in with the car you wish to buy.

Once inside, head over to your friends car and you'll have an option to purchase their exact specification of car and have it delivered to your garage. You can do this regardless of whether the car as been removed from stores or not. However, you won't be able to buy weaponized vehicles as they can't enter the Car Meet.

If you don't have a friend with the car you want to buy, there's even a subreddit online dedicated to the LS Car Meet, where players can discuss what's up for sale and barter with one another.
