In GTA Online, players will spend a lot of time in free mode. Free mode is where players land outside of missions, heists, and other forms of content that Rockstar has put in GTA Online. Free mode is also where a lot of passive income can be made. There is plenty to do in free mode and a lot of different ways players can make money in GTA Online.

For example, time trials are a great way to earn cash and test your ability to drive. For players who enjoy driving fast cars and challenging themselves, time trials are the perfect way to pass time in GTA Online. Here, we are going to go over how players can start time trials and what kind of rewards they should expect from completing them.

GTA Online has added a lot of content to the game since it launched nearly 10 years ago. Time trials were a piece of content that was added in the early years of GTA. Because of that, starting time trials is pretty easy. Players who want to start a time trial should open their map. From there, they find a purple clock on the map and go there. Get in the purple circle with your vehicle and the time trial will start.

Starting a time trial is pretty simple and on top of that, they are easy to do. Players just need to beat the given time by reaching the set destination point for the time trial. Players can take any path to complete the time trial in GTA Online. Just make sure that you are using the correct vehicles as some of them are restricted. No weaponized vehicles, the Oppressor, the Deluxo, and other flying cars cannot be used in time trials.

We would say yes, time trials are definitely worth doing in GTA Online. One of the main reasons for that is time trials actually give the players a lot of money for very little time investment. Players can earn between $100,000 to $104,000 for completing a time trial. Most time trials want players to complete the run in under 2 minutes, so that is not a lot of time to make a lot of money.

On top of that, time trials are great because they change out every week. That means that players will always have a way to make quick cash and do something different from the previous week in GTA Online. The time trials are definitely worth it because it allows players to get from point A to point B in a creative way and earns them a lot of money for doing so.
