Diablo 4 Abattoir of Zir Timer, Deaths & Revives Count

We explain how much time you have to complete the Abattoir of Zir in Diablo 4, what happens on death, and if there's any way to revive.
Diablo 4 Abattoir of Zir Timer, Deaths & Revives Count

With Diablo 4's Abattoir of Zir, Blizzard clearly didn't pull any punches. It is, without a doubt, the most challenging endgame activity in Diablo 4, and we dare say, the entire franchise as well.

While many players might not even be able to access this tough-as-nails endgame activity yet, we know others have some questions. Specifically, how the timer works in the Abattoir of Zir and what happens if you die.

Diablo 4 Abattoir of Zir Timer: How Much Time To Clear

Enemies have a lot of health in Abattoir of Zir, and it only gets increased even more when you craft higher tier Bloodforged Sigils. Even the best class builds for this endgame activity can struggle to push out enough damage to clear it before the timer runs out.

Players only have ten (10) minutes to kill enough enemies to fill up the bar in a randomly generated helland then also defeat the three bosses. Yes, there are three Bloodseeker bosses of immense power, which you will have to defeat in what remains of your 10 minutes inside Abattoir of Zir.

Below, we've got some FAQs to share about how death works in the Abattoir of Zir.

Are There Revives in Diablo 4 AoZ?

No, there are no revives in Diablo 4's Abattoir of Zir. If you die once, the run is over, and you don't get any loot or a chance to level up your Tears of Blood glyph

What Happens When HC Characters Die in AoZ?

If a hardcore character dies in Abattoir of Zir, they are gone forever. One mistake means you're kitted out, a level 100 character, and will not revive again.

What Happens if a Party Member Dies in AoZ?

If one party member dies in Diablo 4's Abattoir of Zir, the run ends. Everyone loses if just one player makes a fatal mistake, so there's no advantage to doing this activity in a group.

In case you've been stuck under some rocks in Echo of Duriel's cavern and missed it, Abattoir of Zir is out now in Diablo 4, and players are struggling to progress, as it should be. Check out a full overview from Blizzard below via the latest Campfire chat.

So there you have it, an explanation of how death works in Abattoir of Zir, the endgame activity's timer in Diablo 4 Season of Blood, and more. Good luck, Nephalem, you are going to need it!
