Diablo 4 Stuck in Queue: Login Issues Fix

We discuss the long Diablo 4 beta login queues, what players should not do when stuck, and a note on any possible fixes.
Diablo 4 Stuck in Queue: Login Issues Fix

In Diablo 4's Early Access beta, we saw long login queues during the first several hours, alongside a bunch of issues on consoles and even PC-specific troubles. With the Diablo 4 servers buckling under the pressure, many players might get stuck in long login queues once again when the game launches on 2 June (Early Access) or 6 June on full release.

This guide explores what Blizzard has said about the login queue issues in Diablo 4 and how you can possibly fix it.

Update on 21 August 2023: We've updated this article with the latest info on possible fixes for the long login queue issues in Diablo 4.

Diablo 4 Long Login Queue: Is There a Fix?

At the time of writing, there is no fix you can employ if you are stuck in a long login queue in Diablo 4. There is, however, something you can do to make things a bit easier on yourself. Essentially, if you are in the queue, do not leave. Stay in the queue, since if you quit and re-queue, the timer will be reset. You will be moved to the back of the Diablo 4 queue...

Following Diablo 4's Early Access Open Beta start, Community Manager PezRadar took to the official forums to update players on the login queue issues:

The team is working through some issues behind the scenes that have been affecting players and causing them to be disconnected from the servers. For the time being, we are managing the rate of players entering the game until we have a full fix for the disconnection issues. This is done so we can ensure stability amongst players who get into the game after the queue process. If you are in queue, we ask that you stay in queue to ensure you do not reset your timer. We plan to have more accurate queue countdowns in place for Open Beta next weekend as noted in our Known Issues post.

We are actively working on these issues for this weekend. Once these are resolved we will be able to increase the influx of players and queue times will be significantly reduced.

This leads us to believe that maybe this large influx of players will cause more Error Code 316719s to pop up. In case you are currently stuck in the Diablo 4 login queue, why not use this time to learn more about the world of Sanctuary in the video below?

So there you have it, an explanation about the long login queues in Diablo 4 and what you should definitely not do if you are stuck waiting. We will endeavor to update this article with more information if/when it becomes available.
