Pact Armor can drop anywhere in Sanctuary, from Nightmare Dungeons to Tree of Whisper rewards, Helltides, and any other place where you can farm items. We do recommend jumping straight into the seasonal quest, Blood Money, provided by NPC Oren at Ked Bardu.

It is likely that you can get a higher Pact Armor drop rate from Blood Seekers, the Blood Harvest events, and by opening Opulent Coffins. Any item of the Chest, Pants, Gloves, Boots, and Helms variety can be a Pact Armor item, including uniques, legendaries, and more.

How Pact Armor Works & Pact Types

Pact Armor can have multiple Pact types attached to it. There are three Pact types in Diablo 4, namely Ferocity, Divinity, and Eternity. Players must ensure that they wear armor that provides Pacts associated with the costs of the Vampiric Powers they want to use.

As you can see from the example image above, the Legendary gloves provide 1 Ferocity, 1 Divinity, and 1 Eternity as a Pact Armor in Diablo 4. Blizzard explains how the system works, stating:

If you have a Vampiric Power that requires 1 Ferocity to activate, then this item alone covers the requirement, and you still have 1 Divinity and 1 Eternity available. If you equip a second Vampiric Power that requires both 1 Divinity and 1 Eternity to activate, the boots still provide enough Pacts to activate both powers.

To make it clear, you will need Pact Armor with specific Pacts to use Vampiric Powers, and there is a limit to how many powers you can have based on your Pact Armor. Some Vampiric Powers require six Pacts; for example, Moonrise, a major power in Diablo 4 Season 2, calls for 6 Ferocity.

Customize Pact Armor in Diablo 4 Season 2

It's clear that you need to find the right Pact Armor pieces to use the Vampiric Powers of your choice in Diablo 4 Season 2. However, there is a way to customize your Pact Armor using standalone Pacts and Cleansing Acids.

Players can use Cleansing Acids to remove unwanted Pacts from an armor piece. Furthermore, you can add a standalone Pact to your armor, provided the maximum amount of that specific Pact type isn't already on the armor piece.

So how do you get these crafting items to customize Pact Armor in Diablo 4 Season 2? Well, you will have to slay Blood Seekers, complete Blood Harvest events, progress in the Season Journey, or open Opulent Coffins. You can also get some of these crafting tools by setting on the Seasonal Quest. To start the new quest, head to Ked Bardu, then speak to NPC Oren, and he will give you a quest called Blood Money
