Can You Get More Item Slots in Diablo 4?
While many Diablo fans might want a Shoulder item slot, there is no way to increase your character’s item slot types in Diablo 4.
Unless, of course, you are playing a Barbarian…
Diablo 4’s Barbarian Gets Additional Item Slots
The Barbarian class is all about swinging devasting weapons at your enemies and crushing them under your boots. That’s probably why, from a lore perspective, it makes sense that the Barbarian has more item slots.
Specifically, you get 2-Handed Bludgeoning Weapon and 2-Handed Slashing Weapon item slots extra. This is done via the Barbarian’s unique mechanic in Diablo 4, the Arsenal system. This also means you can equip two more Legendary Aspects via the Codex of Power than other classes…a bold advantage.
