Get ready to unlock more power with this guide explaining the Season Blessing mechanic added in Diablo 4.
Diablo 4 Season Blessings Explained

As we approach the release of Diablo 4 on the 6th June, as well as the first season of the game set to launch mid-late June, there are tons of features, progression paths, and content additions to look forward to. One of these is the new Season Blessings mechanic, which falls part of the new season.

If you want to know more about the Season Blessings and how they will affect your game during Season 1 of Diablo 4, then we have you covered. In this comprehensive guide, we'll explain everything you need to know about the Season Blessings in Diablo 4.

What Are Diablo 4 Season Blessings?

Season Blessings are a fairly easy concept to understand in Diablo 4, as they are essentially items that grant your character unique buffs when equipped. For instance, you can equip Season Blessings that grant you extra gold, experience, and obols to make leveling up easier with the bonus of being stackable, meaning you can equip multiple Season Blessings at once.

Acquiring these Season Blessings is another beast in and of itself, however, as it requires a specific item called Smoldering Ashes. These ashes can only be obtained through playing the battle pass, and more specifically, in the free track of the Battle Pass.

This means players won't have to pay to access the Smoldering Ashes and Season Blessings, and it gives all players access to these great buffs. To add to this, the developers have also made the Season Blessings something you can expand on.

By spending more on the Smoldering Ashes, you can upgrade the Season Blessings and increase their unique effect. This can give you increased effects for collecting gold to buy that item you've got your eye on or getting more XP if you need to grind out some levels quickly.

It should also be noted that the bonuses gained from Season Blessings only last until that respective Season ends. As the developers have stated, since Season Blessings affect gameplay, you must meet certain Character Level requirements to claim the Smoldering Ashes needed to apply Blessings. This ensures they are earned by achieving gameplay requirements, and there is no advantage gained from purchasing Tier Skips, as mentioned previously.

And there you have it, everything you need to know about the Season Blessings mechanic in Diablo 4. Be sure to get into the battle pass as soon as you can to claim those ashes and acquire the Season blessings that you want.
