World First Diablo 4 Hardcore Tier 100 Nightmare Dungeon Completed

Since the launch of Diablo 4, we've seen players achieve some amazing feats, like smashing a Torment difficulty World Boss in three seconds, beating Uber Lilith, and much more. Arguably the most difficult achievement currently in Diablo 4, however, has to be completing a Tier 100 Nightmare Dungeon on a Hardcore character...

Here's who got the world's first "Nightmare Grandmaster" achievement and title "The Grandmaster," leaving us all with a bit of an inferiority complex.

World First Diablo 4 HC Tier 100 Nightmare Dungeon

My level 95 softcore Barbarian doesn't feel like an achievement anymore, as two players in a group manage to complete the world's first Tier 100 Nightmare Dungeon in Hardcore mode. Yes, if you die in Hardcore mode, your character is lost forever.

The higher you go up in Nightmare Dungeon tiers, the more difficult it becomes. Most Diablo 4 players can't even clear tier 40 and die over and over again. Well, two Necromancers, namely AlAlon, and Riise, managed this significant achievement on 8 July 2023.

This is the first confirmed Hardcore clear of a Tier 100 Nightmare Dungeon in Diablo 4. For their efforts, the players got the "Nightmare Grandmaster," and subsequent "The Grandmaster" title unlock.

The players ran Guulrahn Canals. At the time of writing, it is unclear which affixes were on the Nightmare Sigil used to open this dungeon, but no combo can really be considered easy at Tier 100 anyway.

AlAlon took to Twitter to announce the achievement and show proof while asking where the Magic Find affix was. That is a valid question, as it seems they didn't even get a Unique as a reward for clearing a Tier 100 Nightmare Dungeon...

At the time of writing, it is unclear exactly which builds these two Necromancers used to demolish a Tier 100 Nightmare Dungeon on Hardcore. Either way, a big congratulations go out to them. This is one of the toughest achievements to accomplish in Diablo 4, and considering the game has only been out for five weeks, their world first is even more impressive.
