Diablo 4 Uber Unique Crafting: Get Resplendent Sparks

Be still, my beating heart. Yes, you're not dreaming, Nephalem...Diablo 4 players can now craft Uber Uniques with a new resource called Resplendent Sparks!

Join us as we explain how you can craft Uber Uniques in Diablo 4 with a brand-new Alchemist feature and the fastest way to farm Resplendent Sparks, the ultra-rare resource required to craft yourself, for example, a Harlequin Crest!

How To Craft Diablo 4 Uber Uniques

Uber Uniques are the rarest of the rare items in Diablo 4, and unless you are a max-level hardcore player, you might never see one drop. For those dedicated players, Blizzard has implemented a system that can be seen as a bit of bad luck protection, where they can now craft an Uber Unique they want!

Follow the steps below to craft one of the seven Uber Uniques in Diablo 4:

• Get five (5) Uber Uniques to drop, and salvage all of them for Resplendent Sparks resource.
• Head to any Alchemist.
• Click on the Transmute tab at the Alchemist.
• Select the Uber Unique item you want to craft.
• Spend your five (5) Resplendent Sparks and 50 million Gold!

While the process itself is simple, getting Resplendent Sparks is, of course, incredibly difficult (see our next section for farming tips).

As a refresher, the seven (7) Uber Uniques in Diablo 4 are:

• Harlequin Crest
• Andariel's Visage
• The Grandfather
• Melted Heart of Selig
• Doombringer
• Ahavarion, Spear of Lycander
• Ring of Starless Skies

Blizzard explained why they added an ability to craft Uber Uniques in Diablo 4 patch 1.3.2, stating:

Uber Unique items are highly sought after. With Season of Blood, we introduced target-farming Uber Unique Items with Uber Duriel to gives players another source of acquiring this type of item. However, we want to give players increased autonomy in obtaining their desired Uber Unique by addressing feedback that expressed how acquiring duplicate or undesired Uber Unique Items lessens that feeling of triumph. A new system empowers players to make use of duplicate and undesired Uber Unique items by salvaging them for a new resource which can be used to eventually craft an Uber Unique of their choosing. 

You'll need to salvage five Uber Uniques to actually craft one of your choosing, such as a Shako...That's a whole lot of farming, and fans should not consider this feature "free Shakos" by any means.

Farming Resplendent Sparks in Diablo 4

The only way to farm Resplendent Sparks in Diablo 4 is to actually get Uber Unique drops, then Salvage them for the scarce resource. You can one Resplendent Spark for every Uber Unique salvaged. That's something many players might never even experience since Uber Uniques are incredibly rare.

The best way to farm Uber Uniques for Resplendent Sparks is, at the time of writing, still Uber Duriel runs, aka Echo of Duriel.

There's roughly a 2% chance of getting an Uber Unique to drop from Echo of Duriel, and its loot table includes all seven (7) Uber Unique items.

Blizzard did note that with Patch 1.3.2, the "drop chance of Uber Unique items acquired outside of Uber Duriel encounters has been increased."

At the time of writing, it is unclear how much of an increase in drop chance the developers did implement. Nightmare Dungeons, Vaults, and Helltides can be attempted for a chance at an Uber Unique drop. Remember, you can only get these powerful items in World Tier 4 difficulty from monsters level 85 and above!
