Bringing Diablo 3 Into Diablo 4

The main difference between Diablo 4 and the previous titles is that Diablo 4 is an open-world game. In previous Diablo games, players would stick to one central location per Act in a Diablo game. But due to the open-world nature of Diablo 4, there looks like there are a lot of things for players to discover.

Reddit user u/james_bono recently pointed out in the Diablo Subreddit that there are Diablo 3 locations in Diablo 4. From the looks of it, it is referencing the Hidden Camp Location that was in Act 2 of Diablo 3. The locations include the Hidden Camp Blacksmith, the Hidden Camp Overlook, the Hidden Camp Waypoint, and the Witch Lair Alcarnus.

Other References To Diablo 3 In Diablo 4

On the same Reddit post, other players chimed in to see what they have discovered in Diablo 4 that are references to the older games. For example, one Redditor claims they discovered the arena where you fight Maghda, a boss that appeared in Diablo 3. One player even chimed in that the entirety of Act 2 of Diablo 3 is in Diablo 4.

With so many references of Diablo 3 being discovered in Diablo 4, players are getting excited about the future of Diablo 4. They believe that this could indicate that expansions could bring areas from Diablo 1 or Diablo 2 to the game as well. We will see if that actually happens but there are expansions coming to the future, so anything is possible.
