Diablo 4 Gauntlet Goes Missing: When Will it Return?

As we get closer to Diablo 4 Season 4 (Loot Reborn), players have been a bit worried since the popular endgame activity, Gauntlet (like challenge rifts in Diablo 3), disappeared in Week 9. The Gauntlet in Diablo 4 didn't adhere to its reset time, leaving fans to wonder if it's a bug or intentional.

Why is Gauntlet Missing in Diablo 4? Answered

Fans asked Diablo 4 Community Manager Adam "PezRadar" Fletcher about the apparent disappearance of the Gauntlet in Diablo 4. PezRadar first looked into it with the team and then linked a forum post as a response, explaining the situation:

We have seen a few reports of players not being able to see the Gauntlet for the final week of the season.

Gauntlets for this season and for future seasons will not occur during the final week of a season. This is due to the final week of the season would have some additional complexities during its wind down period before we begin each new season.

We apologize for not pre-informing on this but Gauntlet will be back for the first week of Season 4 next week.

So, the short version is that the missing Gauntlet was intentional. It will happen in the last week of every Diablo 4 season moving forward (unless otherwise specified), and the endgame activity will return in the first week of every new season.

When Will Gauntlet Return To Diablo 4? Countdown Timer

The Gauntlet returns to Diablo 4 at the start of the new season. In the case of Diablo 4 Season 4, we expect the Gauntlet to return for those in the US on 14 May 2024 at 10:15 PST. For those in the UK/Europe, that's 17:00 UTC on 14 May 2024.
