Here's everything you need to know about the Mercy Reach Dungeon in Diablo 4, including its location, boss, rewards, and more.
Diablo 4 Mercy Reach Dungeon: Location, Boss, Rewards, More

There are 120 Dungeons in Diablo 4, and every one of them is swarming with enemy encounters, boss battles, great loot, and a ton of XP. They are also a change of pace from the game's hauntingly beautiful story quests.

Mercy Reach Dungeon is one of the more challenging Dungeons in the game at World Tier 2, with a boss encounter that's best tackled in a group. This guide covers everything you need to know about the Mercy Reach Dungeon, including its location, how to clear it, the final boss, and the rewards you get for finishing it.

The Mercy Reach Dungeon is located northwest of Kyovashad and Menestad in the Fractured Peaks region. It's right at the border of Scosglen. You can find its exact location in the screenshot above.

Firstly, we recommend leveling up to at least 30 and unlocking the ultimate ability before heading into the Mercy Reach Dungeon. It's best to venture in with a friend or two, as the final boss has a move that can one-shot you around the end, which can be extremely frustrating.

As soon as you enter, you will notice the first objective is to slay three Knight Hunters. Fret not since they aren't difficult to kill though they spawn with a bunch of enemies, so it's best to keep all your AOE and CC skills ready. It would be extra helpful if you're wearing a gear that deals bonus damage to Elite enemies, provides more armor, or spawn a shield against them.

The most frustrating group of enemies you will face in the Mercy Reach Dungeon are the Ice Clan Marauders and Impalers. Their ice attacks will decrease your mobility, and if you have a long-ranged Sorcerer or Rogue build, you may face problems.

Once you have beaten all three Knight Hunters, your next objective is to travel to the Unsanctified Reliquary. However, the entrance is locked, and you have to insert two Mechanical Boxes into the Pedestal to open it up. This objective is pretty self-explanatory, and you should be familiar with it. Explore both sides of the area around the gate and bring the required items.

You will face another bunch of Ice Clan enemies on both sides, including a fiery Hellcaller Ice Clan Mauler. Like the Knights, they shouldn't be too difficult to kill, granted you have a high DPS build. Do keep an eye out for ice attacks that immobilize you.

After acquiring both the Mechanical boxes, go back to the center and open up the big gate. Your next objective is to travel to the Tomb of the Nameless Saint, where the final boss awaits.

How to beat Tomb Lord boss in Diablo 4's Mercy Reach Dungeon

Tomb Lord doesn't have many attacks, but what's there is incredibly hard-hitting and can wipe you and your team in a single hit if you're not careful.

Like other Dungeon bosses, Tomb Lord spawns multiple pools on the ground whose number increases as the boss' health goes down. These are not poison pools, but walking over them will hinder your visibility and prevent you from using your skills.

Like a good Necromancer, Tomb Lord also spawns bone walls all over the arena. Being caught up inside one of these can make you Vulnerable, but that's not the worst part. Every so often, Tomb Lord will lift up its wand and detonate all the Bone Walls. If you're caught in its radius, you will immediately die. Hence, every time you get stuck in a bone wall, it's best to destroy it and get out of there before Bone Wall uses its annihilation ability.

It's the only skill you need to watch out for in the battle, especially when Tomb Lord's health is one-fourth left, as it uses this attack more frequently in that time. Keep chugging away at its health, and keep your distance from its bone walls, and Tomb Lord should go down soon.

Mercy Reach Dungeon Rewards in Diablo 4

Completing the Mercy Reach Dungeon will get you 30 Renown Points and unlock the Blood Seeker's Legendary Aspect for the Necromancer class. The boss will also drop a couple of rare items, which could also be legendary if you're careful. In addition to these, killing Ice Clan enemies and the Knights should also get you a ton of rare loot and occasional legendaries if you're at World Tier 2. Lastly, you will get a ton of XP and gold.

That's everything you need to know about the Mercy Reach Dungeon in Diablo 4.
