Diablo 4 Season 2 Release Date
In the announcement trailer, Blizzard has revealed that Diablo 4 Season 2 will release on 17 October 2023. The official start time for Diablo 4 Season 2 is 17 October 2023 at 10:00 PDT in the US. For those in Europe, that’s 17:00 UTC on 17 October 2023. The Season 2 update should actually release a couple of days earlier, giving Diablo 4 players enough time to download it and prepare.

Diablo 4 Season of Blood Content
Diablo 4 Season 2, aka the Season of Blood, is about vampires, obviously. Before we get to the content list, let’s get in the mood with some official lore for the Season of Blood as per an announcement post from Blizzard:
At the behest of their dark master, a newly turned army of ravenous vampires has set their sights on Sanctuary. The master’s sinister plot remains a shrouded mystery but their pursuit for the blood of innocents has caused an uproar. You must learn to hunt the hunter—your fate depends on it.
In Diablo 4 Season 2, Blizzard is introducing a vampire hunter called “Erys,” with Gemma Chan as the voice actress and producer! Season 2 will feature a new questline where players can uncover and use Vampiric Powers in their fight against the “originators.”
At the time of writing, Blizzard has not revealed all the content in Diablo 4 Season 2. However, the developers did announce some exciting additions, including five endgame bosses and the ability for players to target-farm specific Unique and even Uber Unique items.
