Overwatch 2 & Diablo 4 Crossover Skins - Amazing Fan Creations

The 2022 Game Awards had tons of great moments. We honored some of the best games of the year, saw tons of trailers for upcoming releases, and were even stunned silent by the Bill Clinton Kid. However, one of the greatest things to come from the 2022 Game Awards was the announcement of Diablo 4. "Don't you guys have phones" is one of the longest-running Blizzard memes, and for good reason. While Diablo Immortal certainly has its place in the world, fans wanted a true-blue sequel to Diablo 3 on PC. Now that the day is finally here, fans are going into overload, imagining the many possibilities to come. 

Several fans have been designing speculative crossover skins between Diablo 4 and Overwatch 2. It has been revealed that some level of cosmetics will be coming to Diablo 4, so are crossovers with other famous Blizzard IPs really so far out of the realm of possibility?

Overwatch 2 and Diablo 4 Crossover Skins

A user on Twitter by the name of Naeri compiled several concept arts for what potential Diablo 4 and Overwatch 2 crossover skins could look like. Each artwork takes concepts from its inspiratory source and repurposes them for the world of Diablo 4. Take a look for yourself!

If the replies to this tweet are anything to go by, there is definitely enough fan support for Blizzard to consider making this concept a reality.

Blizzard has released crossover cosmetics in the past between their many games, giving mounts in World of Warcraft for playing Hearthstone and giving unique Hearthstone card backs for playing Heroes of the Storm and Overwatch. With so many recognizable and popular IPs under their belt, it just makes sense for Blizzard to release crossover skins (unless they don't like making money)! 

Hopefully, if we ever do see Diablo 4 cross over with another Blizzard IP like Overwatch 2, the designs will be just as amazing as the fan creations. Until that day comes, make sure you start saving or preparing to donate a kidney now - these skins will certainly not be cheap!
