What Are Scattered Prisms Used For in Diablo 4?
First, a bit of lore to get the blood flowing, as a Scattered Prism is explained as:
A mysterious prism most often found in very, very large bodies, such as world bosses. Rare and often hoarded by their previous owners, these prisms are often guarded jealously.
This rare crafting resource in Diablo 4 is used for one purpose only; to add sockets to your items, including Legendaries. At the Jeweler, you will only need one Scattered Prism to add a socket to your item, but since these are tough to farm, we do recommend waiting until deep in the endgame to use them on top-tier items only.
Diablo 4 Scattered Prisms Farming
To get Scattered Prisms, you will need to get lucky with drops from Treasure Goblins. Since Treasure Goblins spawn very randomly and do not always drop Scattered Prisms, this is not a great way of farming Diablo 4’s very rare crafting resource.
