All Class Dismount Abilities in Diablo 4

Players can unlock a variety of mounts and customization options in Diablo 4. This makes traveling across the diverse regions in the world of Sanctuary faster if you stay on the roads, that is. Every class in Diablo 4 also has its own unique dismount ability, which is precisely what we are here to discuss.

This guide explains the unique dismount ability for each class in Diablo 4, namely the Barbarian, Druid, Necromancer, Sorcerer, and Rogue.

Update on 14 August 2023: We've updated this article with the latest info on dismount abilities for all classes in Diablo 4.

Once you've unlocked a mount in Diablo 4, your class will gain a special dismount ability to use. The only caveat is that if monsters attack you first, you will be dismounted without using the ability, so getting the jump on the followers of Lilith and the hordes of the Burning Hells is essential here.

Check out the video uploaded by PureDMG to YouTube below to see the dismount abilities in action below.

As you can see from the image below, the Diablo 4 dismount abilities can deal some serious damage to packs of enemies. This is especially true if more than one player dismounts at the same time, as the image above shows the explosive power of the Barbarian and Sorcerer dismounting on the same pack.

  • Barbarians dismount: Leap from your mount and slam the ground, dealing physical damage.
  • Druids dismount: Leap into the air, shapeshift into a Werebear form, and slam into the ground.
  • Sorcerer dismount: Jump from your mount, turning into an Ice Storm, freezing enemies in your path.
  • Necromancer dismount: Jump from your mount and slam into the ground. Releases a cone of Bone Magic to damage enemies nearby.
  • Rogue dismount: Jump from your mount and fire arrows before hitting the ground.

At the time of writing, the exact damage numbers and if you have to unlock these dismount abilities or learn them in some way in Diablo 4 are unknown, but we will update you once we know more.
