How To Get Reins of the Dustback Steed in Diablo 4

You first have to unlock the ability to ride mounts in Diablo 4 before you can use the Dustback Steed mount. However, you do not need to unlock mount riding to get the Reins of the Dustback Steed item to drop.

To get the Reins of the Dustback Steed item drop in Diablo 4, you will need to head to the Dry Steppes region. This is the only region where the rare mount drops. It can drop from enemies and chests in the region. We recommend doing Legion events as soon as they pop up in Dry Steppes for the best shot at getting it alongside Helltide in the region. Either way, the drop rate is low, so you might stay in Dry Steppes farming for quite a long time.
