Diablo 4: How To Conquer Omath's Redoubt Stronghold
Upon reaching the Stronghold, you'll quickly notice that the main entrance is obstructed. However, there's a ledge on the left side that you can climb to gain entry. Your objective here is straightforward: investigate the Stronghold.
Upon arrival, four distinct locations within the Stronghold will be marked on your map. Each marked spot holds an object you must interact with to uncover more information about the area.
Here's what objects you need to look for at every marked location:
- North marker - A Kehjistani corpse
- South marker - A Kehjistani corpse
- East marker - A Zakarumite corpse
- West marker - A blade
Be prepared for enemy spawns at each marker, so ensure that you have a set of area-of-effect (AOE) and crowd control (CC) skills at your disposal. Once you've interacted with all the objects, proceed to the center of the Stronghold and interact with the Ceremonial Staff. As soon as you do so, the area's boss, the spirit of a high priestess named Hadar, will make her appearance.
Diablo 4: How To Beat High Priestess Hadar
High Priestess Hadar is a ranged Necromancer boss in Diablo 4. As a result, it's crucial to remain close to her regardless of whether you're playing a melee or ranged character so that you can disrupt her lethal attacks. Periodically, Hadar will teleport within the arena. The teleportation near your location is easily predictable, but she also has a more dangerous teleportation where she can appear anywhere in the Stronghold.
During this move, she prepares a deadly attack that can one-hit kill you. As soon as she teleports, sprint towards her and interrupt her move to safeguard yourself. Additionally, as expected from a Necromancer, Hadar summons undead enemies between teleportations. As such, you would be wise to use your crowd control abilities to clear the arena of these foes. By keeping these tactics in mind, you should find Hadar more manageable to defeat.
