We had a wonderful time returning to Sanctuary in the Diablo 4 Early Access beta (see our preview/impressions), despite some technical issues. With the Open Beta starting on 24 March 2023, Blizzard has released the first Diablo 4 patch notes.

In this article, we outline all the bug fixes and more in the latest Diablo 4 update with complete patch notes. This article will be consistently updated to always provide you with the new Diablo 4 patch notes. For now, it is focused on fixes for the Diablo 4 Open Beta.

Update on 21 June 2023: We are waiting for the Diablo 4 update 1.03 to get revealed and will update this article as soon as patch notes are available.

Diablo 4 Update Patch Notes For Open Beta

Following the Early Access beta, Blizzard has deployed some fixes for the Diablo 4 Open Beta and shared them via the game's first official patch notes. Before we get to the bug fixes, take a look at what Community Manager PezRadar had to say, including thanking the community and a reminder about the nature of the beta and testing.

First, we want to thank the wonderful community for jumping into our Early Access Beta this past weekend. We have been combing through all the feedback and will continue to do so through the Open Beta to capture and address notes from players before launch.

We do want to remind players that this is a beta and with that we are testing numerous things from our server load to the gameplay through Act I. This test and your feedback will help us as we head into launch for Diablo IV in June. We greatly appreciate your patience and help to make the best possible experience for all players at launch.

Now, to the latest Diablo 4 patch notes featuring several bug fixes for the Open Beta.

Diablo 4 Latest Patch Notes:

• Fixed an issue with Ashava’s spawn timer. She will now spawn on Saturday March 25th at 10:00am / 12:00pm / 10:00pm PDT and Sunday March 26th at 12:00am PDT.
• Fixed an issue where the queue timer would not display a time despite the player still being in queue.
• Addressed issues that should result in improved queue times.
• Fixed an issue where players would sometimes become blocked during the “In Her Wake” quest.
• Fixed an issue where players were unable to select High Texture Settings with 16GB of RAM.
• Fixed an issue where the UI would incorrectly show completed challenges as “Not Started”.
• Fixed multiple miscellaneous crash related issues.

For console players specifically, an issue was also fixed where the second player in couch co-op mode could not drop in during the game's prologue. This is a small client-side update, addressing some bugs and issues that players may have experienced in the Early Access beta.
