Diablo 4 Reddit Is Once Again Having A Meltdown Over Uber Lilith Boss Fight

Diablo 4 Reddit and the game's pinnacle boss, Uber Lilith, aren't on the best terms, at least if the latest post from Reddit user iswearitwaslikethat is anything to go by. "After multiple failed attempts and finally succeeding I have come to the conclusion that this is an absolutely horrible fight," iswearitwaslikethat started, and plenty of folks in the comments seem to agree. 

For those unaware, Diablo 4 Season of Blood recently released to positive reception, with many fans praising the new endgame grind with the Blood Harvest activity and the massive XP boost to leveling from 50 to 100. 

However, while the new season improves the game in some ways, it also breaks it in others. Diablo 4 has never been more buggy, with frequent network lag, Hardcore character wipeouts, and error codes popping everywhere, even a week after its launch. Additionally, a trading exploit broke the game so hard that Blizzard had to disable it temporarily. Trading in Diablo 4 is still not available at the time of this writing. 

With so much going wrong, it's no surprise that some Diablo 4 players feel like on the edge, and Reddit user iswearitwaslikethat seems to have had enough of that. 

"Every guide I looked up was just “melt her” which in of itself does not make for a fun boss fight. I don’t even mind the one shot kills the problem is that there is just so much shit on the screen, the spikes sometimes glitch and overlay on each other, dealing with 2-3 ads on top of it all is a complete mess. Not to mention how laggy this season has been so there were times when I’d get killed completely safe or my evade bugged. Also my camera sometimes zooms completely in so I can’t even see the wave telegraph? This is kind of a joke for the pinnacle boss of the game," concluded iswearitwaslikethat. 

It's not the first time a Diablo 4 Redditor has expressed their frustration for the Uber Lilith boss fight. Back in August, another user called bigSof said, "Uber Lilith fight is really bad." Another user called RedCloudGamer recently added, "Feel like the grind to beat Uber Lilith isn't worth it. Might just be done with D4."

On the other hand, Diablo 4's content creators and streamers aren't having as hard a time with Uber Lilith as the regular players. Notable Diablo 4 creator Wudijo recently made a video about beating Uber Lilith in a single shot after the Season of Blood nerf. 

It's no surprise that Diablo 4's Reddit community has had a turbulent relationship with many of the game's streamers and content creators. The matter became more controversial when a post on the Blizzard forum stated that creators like Wudijo and Alkeizer are ruining Diablo 4 for the larger community. 

The Diablo 4 community, including Redditors and Creators, continues to be on different boats in Season of Blood. Where players like iswearitwaslikethat find the Uber Lilith boss frustrating, creators like Wudijo are slaying her in a single-shot, as evident in the video above.

There's no saying when and if Blizzard will nerf the Uber Lilith boss fight to make it more suitable for the average player. However, even if that happens, the dissonance between the members of the two halves of the Diablo 4 community will likely remain unchanged.
